IMPORTANT! Use only a 5.0Ah M18 battery. This delivers a 50-amp rapid charge in one minute and up to 350 boost cranking amps to start your engine.

IMPORTANT! Rapid Amp Jump Charger Instructions:

1. Connect the red clamp to the positive (+) battery terminal (the one with the red cable).
2. Connect the black clamp to the negative (-) battery terminal (the one with the black cable).
3. Slide your M18 cordless tool battery onto the Rapid Amp Jump Charger.
4. Allow the Rapid Amp Jump Charger to charge your vehicle battery for about 1 minute, then attempt to start your vehicle.
5. After the vehicle starts:

• • Remove the cordless battery from the Rapid Amp Jump Charger.
  • Disconnect the black clamp (negative) from your vehicle battery.
  • Disconnect the red clamp (positive) last.

IMPORTANT! Automotive safety guidelines:

1. Do not jumpstart unsafe batteries. If your battery smells like rotten eggs or has been sitting completely dead for several days, call a service technician instead of attempting to jumpstart.
2. The Rapid Amp Jump Charger is designed for personal vehicles, motorcycles, small farm equipment, riding mowers, RVs, and boats- all equipment that normally starts with an ignition key.
3. The Rapid Amp Jump Charger is not intended for extended or repeated cranking.
4. For large diesel trucks, tractors, or heavy equipment:

• • Use two Rapid Amp Jump Chargers at the same time (one per vehicle battery)
  • Each must be powered by a 5.0Ah M18 battery.
  • Allow charging for 1-2 minutes before starting the engine.
